Print Top + Distressed Jeans
My winter wardrobe tends to consist of dark prints and earthy tones. My spring attire is the complete opposite. For the next few months, you’ll catch me in bright colors and bold patterns.
During a recent haul on Missguided, I picked up this red stripe and floral mix batwing bodysuit. As you can tell, it met my requirements of being both bold and bright.
I wore the bodysuit with these distressed blue jeans from Missguided. To be honest, I tend to favor distressed jeans over regular jeans. As much as my older relatives remind me I should wear jeans that cover my knees, I just think distressing on denim adds a little extra something to an outfit.
As a petite girl, finding jeans that aren’t extremely long, flatter my shape, and are reasonably priced can be a challenge. But, I’m really loving these right now. They are the perfect length and fit and seem like they’ll hold up for a long time.
I also decided to pair my white strappy sandals (similar) and white statement earrings (similar) from Charlotte Russe with this look as well.
I see myself wearing this top a lot this spring. It’s the type of piece that can be worn casually like I styled it here or dressed up a bit with a fitted skirt.
And so, if I could offer one bit of style advice for this season: don’t be afraid to play with prints, patterns, and colors. Try new styles and have fun with your Spring wardrobe.
